Historic McKinley United Methodist Church was founded in 1880 and remains a beacon of hope in Dayton, Ohio. One of the oldest historically Black churches in the region, we continue to welcome ALL people and affirm that God's love encompasses every person.
Rev. Kima R.H. Cunningham is an ordained minister, but first and foremost a servant committed to preparing churches and equipping disciples
We have an impactful and diverse ministry team to reach and ready our community to serve God and each other!
Need food? If you live in Dayton or Trotwood, you are welcome to come between 3:30pm and 5:30pm. The only thing you need to sign up is your ID. Each Thursday, except for holidays, we are open. In the event we are closed, call United Way 211
At McKinley United Methodist Church, we have a clothing store open weekly on Wednesdays from 11am - 12:30pm. Jan’s Closet was born out of the dream of a member with former retail experience. While we do have item limits, we offer our hand-picked items free of charge for those in need. Email administrator@daytonequity.org for more information or to volunteer!
Hungry for more? Join us for food, fellowship and much more each Wednesday from 11am to 12:30pm
Throughout the week, students at Roosevelt Elementary participate in afterschool programming, with training in arts, athletics, and academics. Want to get involved? Contact Rachel at 937-542-5354
